Looking back at our multi-bank event on 6 February at the beautiful Caroline Mansion of St Regis Hotel Singapore, what made the evening truly special was not just the setting or seamless execution, but the depth of conversations, the strength of connections, and the invaluable insights shared.

We were honoured to welcome Mr. George Yeo, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, as our VIP guest speaker. He certainly lived up to his sterling reputation, enlightening us with timely and relevant insights on navigating Asia’s geopolitical shifts.

It was a rare and refreshing sight to see senior management and bankers from different institutions gathered in one room, engaged in open, meaningful discussions. Over the course of three hours, we explored critical themes that continue to shape our industry:

1.    Why insurance is essential in navigating turbulent times;
2.    Why liquidity remains king in an era of uncertainty;
3.    How planning for insurance is both an attitude and a social responsibility, extending beyond individuals to families and communities

The response to the event has been overwhelmingly positive. From the insightful discussions and carefully curated programme to the choice of venue, food and execution, the feedback has been both uplifting and humbling. And of course, Mr Yeo’s presence as our guest speaker was a standout highlight.

Beyond the success of the event itself, what truly made this experience remarkable was the teamwork and #collectivepower behind it. Every detail was meticulously planned, and everyone came together with a shared vision. There was no playbook – we set out to create something valuable, dared to be different and delivered with purpose.

As we move forward, let’s continue to embody excellence and collaboration. When we challenge the status quo, place confidence in each other and live by a #nolimits mindset, we build something truly extraordinary.
