Michelle Lau

Michelle joined IPG Howden as CEO of the Singapore office in 2020 with close to 30 years of wealth planning and management experience in the fiduciary and private banking industry.

Based in Singapore, Michelle is well-versed in working with Ultra High-Net-Worth clients to help achieve their wealth transfer and preservation goals across generations.

Prior to joining, Michelle spent almost 2 decades of her career in HSBC Private Banking, managing Wealth Planning and the Trust business for South East Asia. She also initiated the Ultra High-Net-Worth client segment in Asia Pacific and has taken on leadership roles in HSBC Trustee sitting on the Boards of the various Trustee entities including directorships and regulatory responsibilities.

Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree from Australia and a Masters degree from Singapore.
